Southern State Information Technology has identified the following email phishing scams that are targeting SSCC students and employees. These scams often appear to originate from an @live.sscc.edu email address and include malicious links within the email.
These are NOT legitimate requests and therefore should NOT be acted upon (beyond deleting the email).
The following are recent scams that have circulated through the college. Note that these scam message may appear in your junk email or quarantined email folder. Always use caution in responding to messages in these folders. If you receive this message (or any message similar to it), please report it as a phishing scam by forwarding the email message as an attachment to datasecurity@sscc.edu.
